ABOUT ME

Hey loves, I am Vernee Mason, welcome to my blog!  About pages are always a little difficult, how do you fit all that you are into such a small amount of words and space?  Vernee is way more than can be fit into this about page baby! I can however, speak to the most important parts of who I am. First and foremost, I am a mother. I am the protector and guide to three beautiful, melanated children. 

 

Education is extremely important to me, it is what I used to take me from where I was to where I wanted to be. I hold Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a Master of Science in Human Services Management degrees and I am the Dependency Program Director at Children’s Home Society in Florida where I currently reside. Now that you know I am educated and maternal, let’s talk about my other loves. 

 

I LOVE to dance..anywhere, anytime the mood hits, I dance and I don’t care a bit about who is watching! I love to workout and take care of my body. I eat healthy but baby by no means do I deprive myself. Life is short, if I want chocolate, I HAVE CHOCOLATE! For the past few years I have been on a personal journey of discovering exactly who I am and how to make that person happy. I am in a place where self love and self care come first. 

 

I love to share my knowledge and experience, hoping I can make someone else’s journey a little easier. This blog is a a space where I share my life, my love and my ever evolving journey to accepting and loving myself wholly, mind, body and spirit.
